Why did you move?
We had outgrown our previous location in Shorewood. We do so many different things within the world of candy that we needed room to showcase each section. We set up our new store so each area is its own shop but everything is all connected as one big store.
What is a Charlie?
A Charlie is our name for a turtle. Turtle is a brand name so no one else can call their caramel pecan candy by that name.
Who is Charlie?
Charlie is our Beagle. We named our candy after him because he is very sweet and a little nutty.
Do you make your own candy?
We make chocolates, popcorn, and cotton candy. We leave the rest of it to the other experts like Jelly Belly and Ferrara Pan. Our bakery and ice cream is made by Lezza Spumoni and Desserts and our donuts are made by Homecut of Joliet.--
What if you don't carry a candy I am looking for? Contact Aunt Nina by email or phone and she will research it for you. She will find out if it is still available and will let you know if she can order it.
What if I want to place a custom order?
Call or come in to discuss your order with our staff. We have so many options it is mind boggling. Be sure to bring in a sample of your intended container so we can show you weight vs. price.
Do you ship?
We will ship your package for you (you have to pay for postage).
Are you a nut free facility?
No, we make products containing nuts of all kinds and we also carry a wide variety of nuts on the shelf. We do have a few vendors who are nut free facilities such as our Taffy supplier.
Is there really an Aunt Nina?
